A little history... The 3rd Primary School of Palaio Faliro was founded in 1966 and operated together with the 2nd Primary School until the school year 1972-73. The previous year it was merged with the Elementary school "Stegis Agios Alexandros Palaio Faliro" and became a six-seater., came to the Greek State through confiscation, operated during the School year 1973-74. During this period there were only three rooms on the ground floor and it operated in morning and afternoon shifts. The earthquake of 1981 caused irreparable damage to the building as well as to the supervisory material it had and the students of the school were dispersed to various schools in the area. The school was temporarily housed in 50 Primary school. Then on 20 Elementary until the building of the former private school "PYRSOS" is leased with a monthly rent 180.000 drachmas.
The 1984 the construction of the new teaching center took place on Parthenon Street 36 with an expenditure budget 15.000.000 drachmas. The process was completed by June of the same year ,the school was equipped and had then 180 students.
Within the next decade, the 14th School of P. Faliro which was co-located with the 3rd in morning and afternoon shifts on an alternating basis. Ten years later the event hall was built which remains to this day small for the needs of the School. At the same time, the co-housing with the 14th also ceased, which is now co-housing with the 10th D. School.
The 1995-96 the outdoor sports areas were also built during the school year 1998-1999 trees were planted in the School's flower beds.
From 2006 until the 2009 the school was renovated after being painted inside and out, acquired a small computer lab and a library of literary books, in order to make maximum use of every available space in the school. In addition, it acquired a natural gas installation.
The school year 2011-12 a working flowerbed was built at the edge of the field where students can experiment with planting and growing plants. Also an action of the school within the COMENIUS program “Mind over Matter” received excellence in education from the Ministry of Education.
In September 2012, at the expense of the Parents' Association, the tartan of the field was reconstructed and protective covers were added to the school pillars.
From 2012-2019 digital media was upgraded and the website distinguished with special mention of interest in education and Learning 2.0 the 2012 in the context of the action by EKPA that concerned, Innovative Youth Initiatives and Good Practices for Leveraging Online Tools and Communities in Education and Lifelong Learning. In addition, there was extensive participation in activities related to social actions and collaborations with organizations such as the Social Grocery Store and the Community Center of our municipality, S.K.E.P., PEI.D.Y., FOOD BANK, UNESCO etc. Also the effort to undertake an Erasmus project + (2016) as coordinator times he was ranked 26 in total 20 funded at a pan-Hellenic level.
The 2018-2021 the school was honored for its distinction in the International School Award. At the same time, due to the pandemic, the school's internet connection was also upgraded. Even for a period of four years, the school participated in the volunteering and solidarity program ¨I Care and Do”. It was also painted on the outside.
